The Liberty Bar
Sefra Maples Interior Design
Telluride, CO
“We had a tight deadline but a really specific vision for what we wanted for the lounge area of The Liberty Bar, a new nightclub opening in Telluride, Colorado. Buildlane was an amazing partner in taking our basic sketches and inspiration photos and turning them into a structurally sound and beautiful build.”
Sefra and her team work fast and always bring a confidence in the vision they want to see realized. This was a really fun project knowing that it would find its home in a lively bar.
We were extremely diligent in making sure the multiple fabric choices and seating configurations were double and triple checked. Our production team took on the project with vigor and completed all sofas within two weeks of receiving the fabric to meet the bar opening date.

“Buildlane was a fantastic collaborator to get these tables and desk just as I wanted them. From prompt finish samples to working with the delivery company to make sure everything arrived perfectly. They were a joy to work with.”
IDF is known for their amazing office build outs and we were ecstatic to be a part of this one. Each piece was a fun mix of materials, with laminate, reclaimed oak, veneer, and data grommets.
We tested out a few options for the look of the front of the desk Ashley was looking to capture. The end decision resulted in a stunning piece to greet people as they entered the office.

“My concept for this project was elaborate and exact. I knew that Buildlane was the only company I could trust to see it through perfectly while also meeting budget and time constraints. Their attention to detail was impressive!”
This was one of the smallest big projects we’ve ever had the pleasure to work on. Andrée brings the maximum amount of creativity to even her smallest items.
The biggest challenge for this project was not in making the patterns to cut the fabric, but rather that each fabric shipped from Turkey and arrived in long, thin, pieces. We’d have a solid drawing only to realize the fabric yielded much less than we planned and we’d have to go back for revisions mid-production.

“Buildlane has been a great partner building custom furniture for my projects. They work fast and they are always easy to get ahold of. I especially love to be able to send them a sketch and see a shop drawing exactly how I imagined it to look.”
Kammi is a fantastic designer who is always pushing our capabilities in what is possible. This project included a handful of pieces, everything from a leather bed that required over 1,000 nailheads, to outdoor teak sofas, to high gloss nightstands with installed lighting.
Kammi’s ability to provide accurate hand drawings for her requests really helps us jump right into the later stages of drafting.

“My favorite thing about working with Buildlane is that I can sign off on a project and know that it will be completed in a timely fashion and to the specifications we agreed on. What a relief to not have to chase my orders all day so that I can focus on my business.”
Meredith is always such a pleasure to work with and her sourcing skills for leather and fabric are unmatched. This particular project included a lucite legged bench with polka dotted hair on hide, definitely a first for us.
The bed was originally in pink velvet and the end client changed her mind mid-production. We re-did it with the mohair you see in the photos. Tufting mohair is a careful process but the results are truly worth the effort.
